The Young Dementia Network has created a range of resources for people affected by young onset dementia as well as professionals, service providers and commissioners
Good practice guide
Shares the key findings and recommendations from the three-year long Angela Project research study, outlining good practice in young onset dementia and how to improve diagnosis and support for younger people with dementia
As part of The Angela Project, the team analysed what needs helpful services met which led to a set of eight needs that seem to be central to helpful support. We have created three short films to highlight these key areas
The pathway brings together the experience of people affected by young onset dementia and the people who work with and support them in a set of recommendations which are designed to guide policy makers, commissioners and practitioners in designing and delivering services
Age-appropriate support is lacking in many parts of the country. We are very keen to encourage people to set up groups for the under 65 age group so have created this guidance document to help you set up and run a successful young onset dementia group.
