Dementia is described as ‘young onset’ when symptoms develop before the age of 65. There are over 70,800 people estimated to be living with the condition in the UK.

Our ‘Beyond age-appropriate’ webinar on Wednesday 25th February 2026 will discuss how the needs of people with young onset dementia vary and how understanding this shapes the types of support that is most needed. We will also explore the concept of ‘age-appropriate support’ and what will enhance age- and life-stage appropriate care in the future.
