Jennifer Keen – Head of Policy, Alzheimer’s Society

Jennifer Keen is Head of Policy at Alzheimer’s Society. In this role, she is responsible for developing the Society’s positions on the issues that matter to people living with dementia, as well as building an evidence-based case for better dementia policy. As such, she is dedicated to securing increased access to a timely and accurate diagnosis for people living with dementia, as well as a reformed and better funded social care system.

She joined the Society in 2023 from the Institute of Alcohol Studies, a charity and think tank committed to advancing the best available evidence in the alcohol policy space. She served concurrently as Communications and Advocacy Chair of the Alcohol Health Alliance, a coalition of more than 60 health organisations. A longtime charity advocate, she has worked in several roles to protect the rights of disabled people, older people and those at the end of life, including at the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
