Vitali-tea

In January 2022, we continued our series of young onset dementia webinars with Vitali-tea – keeping well after a diagnosis of young onset dementia.

This webinar looked at how good nutrition, physical activity and mindfulness can have a positive impact on the lives of people with young onset dementia and their families.

We had three fantastic panelists for this webinar:

  • Diana Smith-Harris, author of ‘Eating well with dementia,’ who will share the positive impact of eating well and maintaining good nutrition based on her experience of caring for her husband who had young onset dementia
  • Sara Addison, who runs the Young Onset Dementia Activists group in Bromley, will be joining us to discuss the importance of physical activity for people with young onset dementia
  • Julia Powell, a mindfulness teacher with a special interest in dementia care after caring for her mum, will talk about the benefits of using mindfulness and relaxation techniques
