Our first webinar took place on Wednesday 21st October 2020, Adaptabili-tea – Adapting to life after a diagnosis.
The Adaptibili-tea webinar was led by Liz Rose, Young Onset Dementia Advisor, Young Dementia Oxfordshire with Edward Bushnell and Philip and Helen Robins from PACE, Oxfordshire and Damian Murphy, Director, Innovations in Dementia.
The webinar provided an opportunity for people to learn and discover the different ways that people manage, cope and come to terms with a diagnosis of young onset dementia.
This panel-based discussion focused on the lived experience of those who have a diagnosis, what kind of early support they received and what they found useful , as well as advice on what newly diagnosed people can do to adapt to live as positively as they can.
Our monthly webinars bring together Young Dementia Network members, people living with young onset dementia, family members, professionals and people interested in young onset dementia to create an opportunity to connect, support and inform each otherFind out more
